Touko Pertti Nousiainen

(born 1947, Tervo, Finland) is a distinguished figure in the fields of fiber and textile technology. He currently serves as a Private Consultant and Professor Emeritus Dr. at Nousfiber Consulting, where he leverages decades of expertise to support innovation and research. He is also the Director of R&D and a Co-founder of Silvergreen Ltd, a company he helped establish in 2009, focusing on sustainable material solutions. Previously, he held the position of Emeritus Professor of Fiber and Textile Technology at Tampere University of Technology, Department of Materials Science, where he contributed significantly to academic research and the development of next-generation textile technologies.
